I began my career when I was 15 by working in a hairdressers on a Saturday and after school. From there I went to Lewes College in Sussex to study Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Wig Making and Theatrical make up, all of which were a grounding for what I wanted to achieve.
Not satisfied with NVQ level 2 in hairdressing, I then went to Cornwall College, Camborne to gain my Level 3, during which time I was keeping up the make up skills when asked to work at local wedding fayres and fashion shows.
I had known as soon as I knew I wanted to be a make up artist that York College was the place I wanted to go because of the fantastic feedback I had recieved from new and experienced make up artists I had met along the way.
Now in my final year in York, I am working a lot more and am always looking to get involved with new projects.
